Me and Elysha decided about a month ago that we were going to carve pumpkins for Halloween. So we did it and it was such a blast.

Splendid Surprise
The past couple of days have been really hard and long for me. Last night I came home from 9 hours at school and walked into this wonderful sight on my bed-Thanks Tre!

One WiLd weekend
On Friday I woke up, showered and then got ready for the longest weekend of my life. First, Mom and I went to lunch at Cafe Rio and then we headed up to the U set up a giant cauldron for the Black Pumpkin Affair (a Crimson Nights Halloween party). After that, I went to Chemistry and then headed straight to work from there. This weekend was Witches' Night Out where I work. What that is is a bunch of crazy ladies come in dressed in all sorts of witch costumes and wait 3 long hours to be seated. Needless to say, it is absolute madness! I worked from 330 until 12 then drove back to school to help with the party. After that was over (at 2 AM!) we cleaned up the mess and then went to Village Inn for breakfast. We were there until 5 in the morning and then I drove home. Brent couldn't believe it when I was still in bed at 2pm (but, hey! that's less than nine hours of sleep). I woke up- got decked out in my witch's costume again and headed off for another fun-filled night at Archie's. I worked from 330 and didn't get home until 3. I am glad it's Sunday so I can spend the day recuperating.

Called to Serve
One of my very best friends from high school, Tyler Shaw has been called to serve in the Albuquerque, New Mexico mission and he leaves for the MTC tomorrow. While I am deeply saddened by his soon-to-be absence, I am also very excited for him and the people that he will be working with. Tyler has worked extra hard to be able to serve his mission and this is just his pay off. I love you Tyler and you'll be in my prayers always! p.s. You had better write!
Tre, Me, Nuthaniel, Tyler, Teddy, Jessica and Allee
We went to a Haunted House as our last outing before Ty left
Tyler being his weird self- we were looking for him and found him in Nut's tub. :)

Tyler wanted to leap over me and Allee, I don't know why but the boys loved it
Apparently, Tyler likes to hide/dwell in weird places

How Time Has Flown...
Some of you may have noticed that I haven't written a single thing on this pathetic blog since the first day of school. Well, this is because I haven't had one spare moment to do so (dang that chemistry class!) However, a lot of stuff has been going on and since it is officially fall break (!) I can sit down and catch up on the events that have happened.
This year at school, I am still doing UPC but am now on the Crimson Nights board. If you don't know what that is, it is a group that does large-scale programming for events on campus. We plan 3 huge parties per semester intended for groups between 7-10 thousand people. Brent and his friends usually come up and hang out with me, but he was in Vegas this time. Although it was a long day, I still had a lot of fun!
At one o'clock in the morning we all decided that we needed a shoulder rub. So we started a massage train. This is some kid idk, Heather, Kyle, Me, Steven and Erica. (Mom said, "Who's the short guy?" and I said, "You mean the guy on his knees?")
I've always been a huge fan of the television show So You Think You Can Dance but I never knew how much I loved it until me and my high school friends went and saw them in tour. Morgan had gotten us a suite for half price and we had such a great time! We've decided to splurge next year and get front row spots, because we know someone who can reserve them for us. I am so in love with Twitch!

Sadly last week, my younger cousin Ally was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a disease that is genetic and runs in our family; my other cousin Simon also has it. As of yet, there is no cure for this disease, but a lot of work is being done in the search for it. Mom and I went up to visit her and she is such a cute girl. She is so smart and aware of everything around her. She is in our prayers. We love you, Ally.
The 9th was Brandon's 27th (holy cow!) birthday. The family got together to celebrate on Friday, and I heard it was a good time. Sad! I had to HEAR about it, but this is the busiest season at my job, and I had work until 1030. When I got home me, Mom and Brandon played Scene It on the xBox a couple of times. Happy Birthday Brovver!
Happy Birthday!! October 12th was Tre's birthday. I don't know where time went, but he is 20 years old!
My best friend Teneil's son, Jayce, was baptized this month and he wanted me to go because I am his "girlfriend". I was so happy to see him making good decisions and deciding, all on his own, to be baptized a member of the church. Teneil has THE cutest kids, and since I have no nieces or nephews- I'll adopt them!
^ This is Me and Mehki. He is so handsome.
I'll try to post again before Christmas! :) Just Kidding (but seriously)
A few weekends ago Brent and a few of his friends (Jake, Lynn, Jesse, Lauren and Liz) all drove down to Las Vegas just to get away. We were all surprised at this, because for Brent's whole life he couldn't sit in the car for over an hour without going insane, but he made it, and they had a good time. While they were there they swam a lot, because the house they rented had a pool and a lazy river and they also went and saw the body exhibition. Brent said that he had a good time, but next time he's going to fly on Jetblue and have his friends pick him up at the airport :)
