How Time Has Flown...

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't written a single thing on this pathetic blog since the first day of school. Well, this is because I haven't had one spare moment to do so (dang that chemistry class!) However, a lot of stuff has been going on and since it is officially fall break (!) I can sit down and catch up on the events that have happened.

A few weekends ago Brent and a few of his friends (Jake, Lynn, Jesse, Lauren and Liz) all drove down to Las Vegas just to get away. We were all surprised at this, because for Brent's whole life he couldn't sit in the car for over an hour without going insane, but he made it, and they had a good time. While they were there they swam a lot, because the house they rented had a pool and a lazy river and they also went and saw the body exhibition. Brent said that he had a good time, but next time he's going to fly on Jetblue and have his friends pick him up at the airport :)

This year at school, I am still doing UPC but am now on the Crimson Nights board. If you don't know what that is, it is a group that does large-scale programming for events on campus. We plan 3 huge parties per semester intended for groups between 7-10 thousand people. Brent and his friends usually come up and hang out with me, but he was in Vegas this time. Although it was a long day, I still had a lot of fun!

At one o'clock in the morning we all decided that we needed a shoulder rub. So we started a massage train. This is some kid idk, Heather, Kyle, Me, Steven and Erica. (Mom said, "Who's the short guy?" and I said, "You mean the guy on his knees?")

I've always been a huge fan of the television show So You Think You Can Dance but I never knew how much I loved it until me and my high school friends went and saw them in tour. Morgan had gotten us a suite for half price and we had such a great time! We've decided to splurge next year and get front row spots, because we know someone who can reserve them for us. I am so in love with Twitch!

Sadly last week, my younger cousin Ally was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a disease that is genetic and runs in our family; my other cousin Simon also has it. As of yet, there is no cure for this disease, but a lot of work is being done in the search for it. Mom and I went up to visit her and she is such a cute girl. She is so smart and aware of everything around her. She is in our prayers. We love you, Ally.

The 9th was Brandon's 27th (holy cow!) birthday. The family got together to celebrate on Friday, and I heard it was a good time. Sad! I had to HEAR about it, but this is the busiest season at my job, and I had work until 1030. When I got home me, Mom and Brandon played Scene It on the xBox a couple of times. Happy Birthday Brovver!

Happy Birthday!! October 12th was Tre's birthday. I don't know where time went, but he is 20 years old!

My best friend Teneil's son, Jayce, was baptized this month and he wanted me to go because I am his "girlfriend". I was so happy to see him making good decisions and deciding, all on his own, to be baptized a member of the church. Teneil has THE cutest kids, and since I have no nieces or nephews- I'll adopt them!

^ This is Me and Mehki. He is so handsome.

This is Wyatt (Emily's son) & the man of the hour, Jayce (nice muscles)

I'll try to post again before Christmas! :) Just Kidding (but seriously)
