Pseudo Christmas!

Because Mom and I will be gone next week for "real" Christmas we had Christmas Eve and Christmas this Friday and Saturday. It doesn't really matter WHEN you celebrate, as long as you are with loved ones and remember the true meaning of this holiday. Here's some pictures to document the occasion:

Stupid Kitty. I was wrapping presents and she was sitting in a JcPenney bag with her head out the handle hole. Someone made a loud noise and she takes off with the bag flapping around her neck, like a cape.

Every Year I am "Santa" which means that I pass out the gifts to everyone.

Brandon and his Star Wars toy.

Ann & Ty opening gifts

Kristin- fascinated by her Twilight book

The Family got a Wii game called the Outdoor Chellenge and this is me and Brent sprinting. Quite the workout.

Sisi, Me and Brent

Typical.

Mom and Grandpa

Brent drew this prize (the hat) from the White Elephant. (The Rose bath kit was Tre's).

Tyler liked the hat too- it was a hit!

Brandon won this Mexican Poncho. The hat was just the cherry on top.
We have this tradition that all the unmarried grandchildren get to reach in the money jar, a jar full of coins, and pull out a handful. We look forward to it every year!

Tré getting a good grab.

Brent warming up his fingers. It's hard for him because he has such big hands that when he gets a big handful-he cen't get it out the top. :(

Brent grabbing and Grandpa making sure it's fair play.

The new Champ- $41.70

We've already had our Christmas and had a great time. We hope that yours is filled with the same love and laughter. Merry Christmas!

Catch-Up, Again :(

I always get so far behind and some good things happen that I want to share. So here I am, once again, mooshing all those things together.

A couple weekends ago was the last CN of the semester and Me, Erica and Steven hung out the entire night. the end of the night- both Erica and I were dead on our feet.
We have this game called Snood on our Computer that both Mom and Dad love to play for bragging rights against the other. I will occassionally play when I'm waiting for a CD to burn or something. Well, one day I played and got the high score. I have been the reigning champion for a few months now and then last Sunday, Dad comes screaming down the stairs. He had beat my score by 2000+ points. Mom was going to clear all the scores because she said the game was no longer fun-good thing she didn't.
A couple days ago, dad made breakfast for dinner and this is my silly Brother stuffing the WHOLE thing in his mouth at once. This was like his 5th french toast-thank goodness for high metabolism!

I have to tell you what a good guy Brent is. So I went to the Utes basketball game last week and as I'm pulling in I notice that my breaks are making horrible, scary noises. I tell Brent this and he tells me that my breaks are completely worn. So the next day I drive Mom's car and I get home and him and Dad paid and changed my breaks before I even get home <3 align="center">Then (I know, there's more!) After the near-blizzard the other day, I was rushing to get to school and Brent says, "Rach, when do you need to be outta here?" and I said, "in like 5 minutes, why?". "Just wondering". I am getting all my stuff to take outside to go clean off my car and I look out the window to see this:

Gotta Love Him!!

Happy Turkey Day!

As tradition, we woke up to Burger King/McDonald's breakfast that Brent had went and got. Then we went through all the ads to see if getting up at 4am was worth it (it's not) and then we got ready to go to Uncle Randy's and Aunt Mary's.

Erica set the tables so beautifully

Me and Ric after we just done stuffing ourselves full

This is my attempt of teaching Kristin how to cross one eye while leaving one straight. Needless to say, I failed. I know she looks like a doofus, but you gotta love her anyway.

I don't know why, but me and Kristin always take a thousand pictures that look like this.

What Thanksgiving is all about- The whole Family (Mom, Dad, Ann, Tyler, Kristin, Brandon, Me and Brent).

Christian, Erica, Nikki, Steven, Whitney, Aunt Mary and Uncle Randy (we missed you Becca and Josh)

Erica and I at (my second viewing of) Twilight- STILL just as good!

Best Movie Ever!/Happy Birthday Joycen!/Moonlight Madness

Me, Mom, Kristin, Ann and Vicki Lewellyn went to the midnight showing of Twilight on Thursday. And I still cannot get over what a good movie it was. I was on the edge of my seat either being lovestruck or excited the entire time. I plan to see it numerous more times and I cannot wait until it comes out on DVD. If you haven't seen it-I 100% recommend it.
Me and Mom, in our matching sweatsuits, about to go

Brent, thinking we are totally lame for going-this is his "totally lame" face

Yesterday was Joyce's 20th Birthday! As tradition, we went to dinner really late at night at Chili's. Happy Birthday!Joyce, Jess and Me

Tonight was Moonlight Madness at my job-where we are supposed to dress up like Christmas and we are open to Midnight. It was a very long day but it was also a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Esha!

Elysha, Teneil and Me celebrating Elysha's 22nd Birthday

We have this weird tradition where if two of the three of us go shopping-you have to buy something weird/ugly for the absent person. I am so lucky that my best friends found this prize at Old Navy for $2.50! Don't you wish you had friends as great as mine?

What was I Thinking?!

Like I don't already have enough on my plate! Along with going to school over full time with a chemistry class that is kicking my butt!, working a part time job at Archibald's in their busiest season and trying to spend time with loved ones, I guess somewhere in the mix of things it sounded like a good idea to get ANOTHER part time job at Hollister. O well, it's like 6-10 hours a week (if that) and I get pretty good deals (not as good as I thought I would get) for Christmas. So I can help you out:)

You Jump on That Bandwagon!

As Election day draws near an end I would just like to get on and say a few words about our former President, George Bush. Despite what anyone else may say, I believe that George W. Bush is a great man and was a great President. I stand behind any decision he made, whether wrong or right. All those that hate Bush so much must have forgotten that he is human; Yes, he has made mistakes, but who hasn't? I can't wait to see how fast it takes for everyone to turn on their beloved Obama when things don't suddenly turn around as they think it will. Also, I would just like to wish our new President the best of luck, because he is going to need it with how high of a pedestal he's been put on-it's going to be a long fall.

Happy Halloween!

This year is just flying by! Can you believe that October has already come and gone? Nuts! As a tradition for Halloween, me and my friends went to dinner and a scary movie. These girls are my best friends from high school and though we only see each other every so often because we all scattered in different directions, we always have a great time! We missed you Madi and Kenz!

Allee and Bolt!

You can't even tell Joyce is in that scene setter!

I know you can't tell who Jessica is kicking in the face but that is Corbin Bleu (I Loathe HSM)

Morg being upset that I made her be in a picture

That's me-putting the mack on someone wearing John Kramer's face:)

It looks packed huh? haha

Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins!

Me and Elysha decided about a month ago that we were going to carve pumpkins for Halloween. So we did it and it was such a blast.

Splendid Surprise

The past couple of days have been really hard and long for me. Last night I came home from 9 hours at school and walked into this wonderful sight on my bed-Thanks Tre!
